What do you do?
From a stuck karabiner to a full on crag rescue this course will give you the tools to solve problems and look after your climbing partner. Self reliance has always been a cornerstone of climbing and mountaineering and the additional skills will significantly increase your safety and enjoyment in the vertical world. Subjects covered will include:
Mountains are based in the Lake District with some of the UK's best climbing on our doorstep. We are also happy to run this course in Scotland, North Wales, Yorkshire or the Peak District
To get the most from this course clients should be comfortably leading rock climbs at Severe standard
We can happily run this course on any dates in April through to September. Courses are usually two days in length
£200 per day plus £20 per additional person up to a maximum ratio of 1:2
If you have any queries regarding equipment then please contact us for advice and recommendations. We have a small pool of equipment available for use including maps, compasses, waterproof jackets, rucksacks, climbing helmets, belay plates, karabiners, ice axes, crampons, ice tools and snow shovels. There is no additional charge for the loan of this equipment. Please contact us to check availability.
