One of the world’s Volcanic Seven Summits, Iran’s iconic Mount Damavand is a mountain with many faces. At 5610m it dominates the Alborz range, is the highest peak in the Middle East and is Asia’s highest volcano. It’s also the setting for a classic adventure challenge this summer. Join the small and dedicated team determined to summit Damavand this June on the first ever Secret Compass expedition to the region.
The aim of this Iran expedition is to complete a traverse of the Lar National Park and to make a summit attempt of Damavand at a height of 5610m, one of the world’s Volcanic Seven Summits. As a team you’ll also make summit attempts on several neighbouring 4000m-plus peaks for useful acclimatisation not to mention additional adventure and exploration en route to the highest volcano in Asia: Mount Damavand.
